TE Connectivity sponsored a global gathering of women engineers at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia this past weekend, which featured more than 9,000 women at all stages of their engineering careers, reports Mark Hostutler of VISTA.Today.

WE16, held by Chicago-based Society of Women Engineers, is the world’s largest conference and career fair for women in engineering and technology. TE Connectivity, which has offices in Berwyn, attended and actively recruited at the multi-day conference. TE partnered with John Deere and Raytheon to welcome more than 1,200 collegiate engineering students, as well as host exclusive breakout sessions and tech talks with executive leaders.

Springhouse Films produced a film for TE to use as a recruitment tool at the conference, featuring more than a dozen interviews with the company’s women engineers and executives. Springhouse assisted in creative development, conducted and filmed the on-camera interviews at TE’s Berwyn office, and produced the following film:

The goal of the film is to showcase TE’s focus on enabling women to reach their full potential through inspiration, networking, mentoring, and professional development.
